For a more traditional holiday experience set in a new culture, the city of Hammamet also offers access to miles of white sandy beaches that extend father than the eye can see. This may be one of the only locations across the globe where you cannot only sunbathe, but also participate in many water sports and end the day by taking a camel ride down the beach into the sunset. Heading up the coast you can find more resorts to visit and an old walled medina which is a beautiful structure and home to a market that sells local goods such as delicacies, ceramics, leather items, and pots.

Here you can hire a Jeep for a safari or take a tour out on the dunes and experience firsthand how it feels to fly across the desert.
